Cornwall to get largest share of £1.8b funding announced for NHS frontline services by Prime Minister

The Prime Minister has announced that the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust will receive £99.9 million which will go towards a new Women’s and Children’s Hospital in the centre of the Royal Cornwall Hospital site in Truro.

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the 20 NHS organisations to receive a share of new funding.

Commenting, Steve Double, Member of Parliament for St Austell and Newquay said:
