Future Fund scheme for innovative businesses launches

UK-based companies can now apply for a convertible loan of between £125,000 and £5 million from the £500million Future Fund, to support continued growth and innovation in sectors as diverse as technology, life sciences and the creative industries.

Commenting, St Austell and Newquay MP Steve Double said

“Innovative businesses and start-ups in Cornwall have so much potential to grow our economy in Cornwall and they will help kick-start our recovery from the pandemic across the UK.”

“I am pleased to see the Chancellor come forward with more support to these firms to allow them to continue to innovate and encourage any in Mid-Cornwall to consider applying.”

The Fund will be open until September and is delivered in partnership with the British Business Bank.
