“It is great to see the announcement by the Secretary of State for this funding, which Cornwall Council will be able to use to combat bed blocking, getting patients home quicker and freeing up hospital beds and alleviating winter pressures on the NHS.
Supporting the NHS to deliver high quality services for patients this winter is a critical priority for the Government and I am pleased to see this funding in recognition of that.”
“I look forward to working with Cornwall Council to ensure it is delivered in the best possible way for the people of Cornwall.”
