Minister for Arts, Heritage and Tourism, Micheal Ellis MP has visited Cornwall Airport Newquay as part of his tour of the southwest this week.
Joining the Minister was Member of Parliament for St Austell and Newquay Steve Double.

“It is great to see the continued growth of Cornwall Airport Newquay. Just since my election we have seen numerous new routes added, better, more modern and faster aircraft introduced and the scrapping of the unpopular airport development fee”
“We also discussed the potential of exciting new opportunities including the recently announced spaceport, a Heathrow connection and better support for Cornwall from Visit Britain.”
“Cornwall Airport Newquay is a major gateway to Cornwall and I will continue to do all I can to promote and encourage the growth of the airport and nearby aerohub for locals and visitors alike.”
